Universiteti Polis

"Polis" University is a private higher education institution located in Tirana, Albania.
The university was established on April 4th, 2006, through registration at the Tirana Court and licensing by the Ministry of Education, Sports, and Youth of Albania.

In 2012, it was granted full “University” status, which includes programs at the third level of education (PhD) and scientific research.

As a university, Polis comprises four levels:

1.Two post-secondary professional programs
2.Five bachelor's programs
3.Ten master's programs
4.One international PhD program
All are full-time programs, except for two part-time (extended) professional master’s programs.
Polis also offers lifelong learning courses and training.

Bachelor’s programs and some master’s programs are taught in Albanian, while the Executive Master and PhD programs are taught in English. Both Albanian and English are de facto official languages of the university. Other, less commonly used languages include Italian and German.
