"In the exercise of their powers, prosecutors are subject to the Constitution and the laws.
Prosecutors exercise their powers by respecting the principles of fair, equal, and lawful proceedings, as well as the protection of lawful human rights, interests, and freedoms.
The Prosecutor’s Office is organized and operates under the leadership of the General Prosecutor as a centralized structure, which includes the Office of the General Prosecutor, the Prosecutorial Council, and the prosecution offices attached to the judicial system.
The Prosecutor’s Office also organizes activities aimed at educating society, in cooperation with state institutions and other public or private entities from civil society, with the objective of promoting legal awareness and preventing criminal activity."
