One day, Master Hacı Hasan, who is meticulous in his profession and disciplined, is driven mad by a hair that comes out during a guest dinner. The master, who is very angry about the situation, pulls all the employees into line and issues a fine. The next day, all the employees come to the restaurant with their hair shaved with a razor. Mehmet, who has learned his share and lesson from this fine, reveals the letter "V" that he left in a traffic accident when he was young when his hair is cut. This sign, which means seven in old Turkish, catches the master's attention and he gives him the nickname "7 Mehmet" that will never be erased from his name. Thus begins the adventure of 7 Mehmet.

Mehmet, who opened his own small soup shop in the Municipality Business Center, served soup to the bazaar shopkeepers with a hanger as a tactic on the first day. He stopped this service on the second day and started to wait for customers in the shop. The tactic worked and the shopkeepers who tasted the butter soup formed a queue in front of the small shop. In this small shop consisting of four chairs, a table and a few serving sets, the steam of 7 Mehmet's soups started to rise in the 1940s.
