AMERICAN HOSPITAL

The American Hospital in Albania was founded in December 2006 as the first private hospital in the country. It began its operations in Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery by recruiting a team of foreign professionals with experience in this field, aiming to serve patients both locally and internationally. Within a year, it reduced by 85% the flow of cardiac patients who previously had to leave Albania for treatment abroad. Following this success, the American Hospital quickly expanded its activities, initially focusing on general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, and urology, until it reached the full capacity it enjoys today.
